People can opt to go to treatment, or they can choose to attend Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous meetings. There are also ways for loved ones to get support through Al-Anon and Alateen.
Though we are not affiliated with these organizations, we know they offer a tremendous amount of support during recovery. For that reason, we have included them in our list of addiction recovery resources for the Port Orchard area.
The Port Orchard area offers several AA meetings each week.
