People often do not know what is available to help them stop using. As a result they either continue to drink alcohol or use drugs, or they will try to quit on their own. Of course, neither one is a good option.
Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous have changed millions of people’s lives all over the world. There are many ways to get professional addiction treatment as well, for those who are not interested in 12-Step meetings. Families can even get help and support through Al-Anon and Alateen.
These programs can be so beneficial, and while we are not affiliated with them, we believe in their missions. This guide for the Colfax area offers information on all of the local meetings and addiction recovery resources.
The Colfax area has several AA meetings that are scheduled throughout the week.

Even though attending AA and NA meetings can be helpful, they are not the right options for everyone. Some people do quite well with attending 12-Step meetings when they are first beginning their recovery journeys. But there are many people who need a higher level of care at first.
At Northpoint Washington, we offer one of the best drug and alcohol rehab programs in the state. Our goal is to provide detailed and targeted addiction recovery for people based on their specific needs. Otherwise, we know that recovering will be very difficult for them, and for many, it will not even be possible.
For those who need drug and alcohol detox, we can provide that service as well. It includes many different forms of treatment, including medical detox. This is often the first step for a lot of people; depending on the types of addictions they are struggling with.
Detox and rehab might seem like major steps to take, and they are. But they are often critical for someone who is focused and determined to recover.
Our alcohol and drug rehab treatment facility is located in Edmonds, Wa. We are located about four and a half hours away from the Colfax area. That makes it the optimal choice for someone who is looking to get away from home for a short time to focus on recovering. This is an option many people prefer because it gives them privacy and it removes any distractions that might deter their recovery.
Did we answer all of your questions about the addiction recovery resources in the Colfax area? Please contact us to get more information or if you are interested in learning more about your treatment options.
Our admissions coordinators are here to help you get started with treatment the right way. They'll verify your health insurance, help set up travel arrangements, and make sure your transition into treatment is smooth and hassle-free.
