The Admissions Process at Northpoint Washington in WA State
At Northpoint Washington in Washington State, it’s important to us to make your admission to our drug and alcohol rehab program as seamless as possible. Want you to feel right at home immediately. The following is the information you should know prior to coming to your intake appointment.
The Intake Process
When the day of your scheduled intake appointment arrives, you’ll meet with an intake coordinator, who will be facilitating your admission. That person will show you to your room after your intake evaluation. All of your belongings will be searched for your own safety, as well as for the safety of the other patients.
Very soon after you’re settled into your room, you’ll get an examination by our doctor and nursing staff. They will complete a history and physical for your file. They will also discuss detoxification with you, and talk about when that will begin.
You should bring the following items with you to drug and alcohol treatment:
- Your photo ID (such as a driver’s license or passport)
- A list of your medications and any allergies you may have)
- Your medical insurance cards
- No more than two suitcases with comfortable clothes for your stay
- Toiletries that are alcohol-free
- Workout clothing and sneakers
