Some will opt for rehab and detox because they need it to be successful. Others will feel more comfortable attending Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous meetings. There are also ways for families to get support through Al-Anon and Alateen.
Please note that we are not affiliated with these organizations in any way. But we do believe in their purposes. We have included them in this guide to the Shelton area’s addiction recovery resources.
The Shelton area offers several AA meetings and they are taking place every week.

Even though 12-Step meetings work well for some, they are not right for everyone. This is especially true for those who are new to treatment. Some people will need to go to rehab to get the help they need. Others will need to go through detox as well, such as people with benzo addictions and alcoholism.
Whether you are in need of alcohol detox and rehab, or you are battling some other type of addiction, it is important to consider treatment as an option. It gives people the best possible chance of recovering successfully.
Our closest facility to the Shelton area is located in Edmonds, Washington. It is called Northpoint Washington, and it is an inpatient addiction treatment program that offers both detox and rehab services.
We are located just under two hours away from the Shelton area. That makes it convenient for those who want to go to treatment near home, but who still want to maintain a high level of privacy.
