Detox, rehab and other forms of treatment should always be considered. But Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, Narcotics Anonymous meetings and other types of support groups and programs can be helpful as well. Families can get assistance through Al-Anon and Alateen.
The work that these programs do is so important, and millions of people’s lives have been changed for the better because of them. We are not affiliated with them, but we still feel it is important to provide information about local meetings in the Bingen area.
The Bingen area has several AA meetings that take place every week.

People who live in Bingen, WA have access to many different types of mental health resources. There are county and community programs that are all very good, as well as a lot of support groups and other types of help.
Crisis Connections offers 24/7 support to people in need. Their phone number is 866-427-4747.
The Crisis Text Line can be reached by texting “HEAL” to 741741.
The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline’s phone number is 1-800-273-8255.
The Promise Program is there to provide a way for people to attend an outpatient mental health treatment program. We offer a higher level of care because we specialize in partial hospitalization services. Our program runs for 4-5 weeks.
When a client comes to Promise, they receive a psychiatric evaluation to determine what should be included in their treatment plan. Every client receives a treatment plan that is unique to them because it specifically addresses their needs. They may participate in:
We work with people with many different types of mental health conditions. We treat all of the following:
Our clients work with their therapist once per week during individual sessions. They have daily contact with our medical team and meet with their psychiatrist twice a week for medication management. Case management and crisis intervention services are available if needed.
Support groups like AA, NA and the mental health groups that are listed here work really well for some people. But they may not be right for everyone. It is important for people to get the type of help that will work best for them. In many cases, that means getting professional support.
For many people, a drug and alcohol rehab is the best place to begin their recovery journeys. This allows them to get the amount of attention they need, and they can also find a great deal of support. Of course, many people will need to begin by attending a detox program, and this is a very important part of recovering as well.
At Northpoint Washington, we offer one of the most comprehensive and caring addiction treatment programs in the state. We are located just four hours away from the Bingen area by car. That means that not only is it possible to get help for a substance abuse problem, but it is also convenient.
A lot of people would rather travel away from home to go to rehab, and that is completely understandable. Their desire is to recover, but they need privacy in order to do that successfully. For these individuals, our facility offers the perfect choice.
Did we answer all of your questions about the different types of addiction recovery resources that are available in the Bingen area? Are you interested in talking with someone about whether treatment would be right for you? Please contact us right away. We are here to assist you.
Our admissions coordinators are here to help you get started with treatment the right way. They'll verify your health insurance, help set up travel arrangements, and make sure your transition into treatment is smooth and hassle-free.
